Just to finish of the Dundee items, three different pattens of the 3rd( Dundee Highland) Volunteer Battalion Black Watch.

1887-1908. Two with IT spelling the other with ET, there are also minor differences in the crowns and scrolls.

Great photos, was across in Arras and Leper for 5 days so trying to catch up on your photos.

Glengarrys and Badge, with Battle Dress, no TOS, I think the TOS was for working dress and Glengarry for parades, the same as Blue bonnets, I used to be in D coy 1 BW, long time ago.

I really don't know how I have missed this amazing topic for all these months.

Many thanks for posting these images.

Can I be cheeky, and ask you to keep an eye out for any mention of a Sgt Herbert William Beeby, in your "travels" (S/8772, 9th BW, DoW 14-4-1917 at Arras), or indeed any pictures of 9th BW Sergeants of 1916/17 vintage. :D

Steve.
