museumtom Posted 6 July , 2022 Author Share Posted 6 July , 2022 Thank you kindly Paul. Guerin/Guerins was a difficult one to be sure. Hanrahan's folder3 card disability section is blank, sad to see. Thank you again for digging this info out for me, I really appreciate it greatly. Tom.

Don't think it will help his cause any more I fear. M

I would put money on this being the same lad. He died in the military hospital, so he should be in the CWGC, but no he is not. Can you help please? My guess is he is 476675 Labour Corps, 4702 R.M.F. but I cannot prove it. depaor01 Posted 13 July , 2022 Share Posted 13 July , 2022 Hi Tom, hope you don't mind my throwing this in, but this is a local lad in Lucan where I live: IFCP was mentioned regarding Gerald and I have a likely local cemetery he may be buried in, in an unmarked plot. Is he on a list anywhere to be accepted for commemoration? I think @jdoyle suggested his inclusion. Dave

PaulC78 Posted 13 July , 2022 Share Posted 13 July , 2022 Hi Tom, Looked for Timothy Pate but I'm drawing a blank. FMP have a couple of pre-war service records for a Michael Quinn from Tuam, not sure if he's your guy but that's all I can find.
museumtom Posted 14 July , 2022 Author Share Posted 14 July , 2022 (edited) No bother Dave, happy to help. The grave register is crucial. The very best of luck with your project! Hello Paul, thank you kindly for the look up. To be honest I have nothing to connect them, I would love to. Perhaps a fodler3 card with date of death would nail him down. As I said in the past these last stragglers are the ones that have us beaten, unfindable, and this is the final trawl of the death certificates hoping give them one last final shot at remembrance. Kind regards. Tom. Edited 14 July , 2022 by museumtom
