Will We be touring you mean

I'm going to boycott the whole thing because we won't be playing any choons off the difficult second album........

I still haven't found the photo I was saving up but as they say in the movies I'll be back.....

Pete.

And to think I went to the trouble of upping my repertoire to include that difficult 2nd Am chord too. Hmphh...

Old Matt Hancock’s got himself into a bit of a pickle, it seems. “Follow the science!” he would say. At least, that’s how I remember it.

Anyway, who is this ? ? ?

Hi UG

On a quick check, does your Matt Hancock reference point towards her involvement in the Health profession ? Nursing?

No, she was a politician of sorts who did not follow the science.

Is she one of those Anti-Vivisection campaigners who were also anti vaxers who tried to stop soldiers being inoculated.

Got it Emma Maria Harrington of the San Francisco Anti-Mask League.

Yes indeed. San Francisco Mayor London Breed made reference to the Anti-Mask League in 2020: “Well, I do think it’s important that we also remind people of history. The Spanish flu in San Francisco in 1918 when the city had a big party and threw away their masks and celebrated, and then a few days later, two thousand people died”.

Well done Ir and good find UG, I was heading down a completely different track.

If we are still up for another WIT, this chap was in the navy but killed in action Oct 1914 near Ypres serving  in the South Staffs, his story was mirrored in a book and film.

Rare for me to get one on here, but I'll let it run for a bit as I need to get to a Post Office and cash a Postal Order. Now where did that go...? :innocent:

Oh the nostalgia. But presumably you have to set out now to reach a post office by the time it opens in the morning.....

Blinking heck, just back and I've got one (I think)! Isn't it the Winslow Boy, George Archer Shee (and he certainly did resemble Churchill)

Well done David, honourable mention to Andrew who also knew, that one didn’t last long did it ( I assume we’ve had Shee before)

I've been saving this one up for David's return and have just had to refamiliarise myself with who he is, so who is he?

If it is not Lance Percival could it be Col Alan Hanbury-Sparrow of the Royal Berks? (Yes, I know, Lance Percival was probably a closer guess)

I'm sure I recognise him, as I posted him in the past. On the other hand, maybe it was different chicken farmer.
