Knotty Posted 2 December , 2019 Share Posted 2 December , 2019 Sorry to hear about your cat NF, 19 years is a good innings, ours is 22 now and she spends her time shouting, which brings me onto jonbem...no not him sir, and despite my age I can see ok and hearing is fine. NF just to say the cat person is a bit of a cryptic clue element👍

Knotty Posted 2 December , 2019 Share Posted 2 December , 2019 (edited) Erwin Schrodinger (variable spellings) it is. As I said his military career was nothing special, however his contributions to quantum physics which earned him his Nobel prize are considerable. A link to his achievements is below, and you can see the reference to a “cat person” https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erwin_Schrödinger Edited 2 December , 2019 by Knotty

neverforget Posted 3 December , 2019 Share Posted 3 December , 2019 Thank you Marilyne, and you too John. It's very sad. She was a beautiful cat, and so friendly and gentle. Eventually we will be able count our blessings, which are her long life, lack of even a day's illness, and the fact that she passed peacefully in her sleep. She outlived both of our previous dogs, and was best of friends with both of them too.
Gunner Hall Posted 3 December , 2019 Share Posted 3 December , 2019 Many people fail to understand the grief the loss of a much loved pet causes. My deep sympathies to you. Apologies too for the rather inappropriate levity about Mr Schrodinger, his box and his famous cat.
