Thank you George, very much appreciated!

The fold3 link for George’s find suggests he was still alive in 1923 so I do not think he is the correct Michael Roche. There are lot of Michael Roche from Cork with WFA cards none showing the date of death. So it will be a plough through

I was going to pass this one by but I have a feeling he might be a contender, can you help please?

We are in the final straight now lads and lassies, not many left to go through.

Another that may qualify, perhaps the answer if his illness was aggravated lies in pension on Ancestry, can you help please? I think Myalgia and Asthenia are related.

Don't think Scanlon is 3356 RGA-seems to have signed forms in April '21

Scanlon RMF 4914 discharged 1898/99 with non-attributable TB-not necessarily your man

Thank you Mark, a nice find. If we could only tie the DC and this together I could add him to my files anyway.

Kind regards.

Scanlon

Again a "very probable"

7645 Irish Guards. Looks as if born 1869. Address is Ballyfinane; died very early 1921.

Discharged 30/3/1917 for attributable Chronic Bronchitis.

Perhaps someone can join the dots,

Thank you Mark. it really looks like him. If we could locate some document that ties it all together that would be fantastic.  I would put a bet that the man below is our soldier, but without that missing document it is just a guess.

For Scully Ancestry merely has the same as FMP. Assuming you have the right man the Medical board findings are myalgia of unknown origin and not attributable. There are no relevant WFA cards

This man has all the indications of being a qualifier, but the critical sheet is missing from the records in FMP, can you help please?

WFA Card for Smyth. Correct address etc. Shows in receipt of pension. He had a disability aggravated by service; it is

smyth1.jpg.52a0601d06375d1cb2b258e6ef3da755.jpg

Need a resident Doctor to work out what that it is and if it is related to the gastritis on his Death Cert.

edit - looking at it again I think it is Hernia

A possible is 2Lt T H Smythe. SWB Card gives his address as 3 Homeville, Rathmines Road, Dublin. Card says 38th Royal Fusiliers

There is Death Index record for TH Smythe in Rathdown 2Q 1921 that I am assuming refers to the above death.

Again .. struggling.

Thank you Mark, looks like a great fit. Given the info you provide I can progress I think.

 Fingers crossed.

If we could find his first name we would be motoring!
