Thanks a lot, Grey ; in september 1918, I saw 2 rabbiner in Ath : "Dr. F. Levy, Armeerabbiner", and "Feldrabbiner Schiff" ;)

Hi,

we were trying to find out more about the Rabbiner in the Felgrau-Forum, especially Levy, of whom there were plenty, but none with the inital "F".

Could you post the original document here please in which they are entioned?

Thanks!

Hi,

beat you to it. ;-)

You wrote F. Levy, but you probably misread the initial. It is not F. Levy, but Jeremias (Jérome) Levy, Armeerabbiner der 6. Armee. Placed in Lille. He must habve been on a visit to Ath.

Not a visit, but if this is at the end of the war, he must have left Lille for Ath during the "Rückzug".
