museumtom Posted 6 April , 2019 Author Share Posted 6 April , 2019 This guy looks easy. The problem is his name and that I cannot find him. He could be William Windrum, or Windrum Williams, or something else altogether. A search for that date give us no suitable candidates. Can you help please? Its looks easy, but no such luck I am afraid. Thank you all very much in advance. Kind regards. Tom.

George Rayner Posted 6 April , 2019 Share Posted 6 April , 2019 (edited) If his seniority dates from 10/05/1917 doesn't that show he must have been serving? Or was he still an aide-de-camp? museumtom Posted 6 April , 2019 Author Share Posted 6 April , 2019 (edited) Sorry George, too early. It was worth a punt though. Just heard back-'No. Find his last appearance in the Army List. That is the next step.' We need to find him in the next army list, if that is possible. I have to leave, sorry lads and lassies. Back later. Thanks again for your help and patience. Kind regards. ss002d6252 Posted 6 April , 2019 Share Posted 6 April , 2019 There is this man from Nov 1914 - not sure if he is the same man or not or whether it is a relative of the above. Craig
museumtom Posted 6 April , 2019 Author Share Posted 6 April , 2019 Thank you George, it is a bummer when the father has the same name as the son and they were both officers, it can get confusing. I appreciate your post and thank you for trying. Terry wants him in his last appearance in the Army lists, it would be a lot simpler if we were in charge! Kind regards. Tom.
