Is that a railway embankment in the background? I can see what looks like a water tower through the trees too, but raliway embankment and French water tower hardly narrows it down much given how far and wide you and the chap in the photo have ranged on the bike. I tried counting the headstones and looking though the CWGC site by number of graves but didn't find a match. At least I'm getting the hang of the new site and finding a lot of interesting things about small cemeteries, you never know when they might come in useful......

We were in the car that trip Pete, but the weather was certainly good enough for a bike trip.

The cemetery dates from October 1918, the first burial is significant.

Pete, I did exactly the same for both France and Belgium and had the same result. 😁

That makes me feel a whole lot better Mr P. Michelle's clue is tantalising but I'm not sure why at the moment......

And another clue for my other picture, last 100 days. Canada figures heavily.

Thanks Michelle, a much needed clue as I am otherwise clueless. Should narrow my search down a bit.

Pete.

P.S. Like the jacket in your new avatar - very bright.

Ok another clue. One of only two on the Western Front. Thank you Pete, it’s a nice warm jacket.

I've just spent another couple of trawling through cemeteries which might be associated with the last100 days and finally found it I think. Drummond?

Visited there over twenty years ago but must admit I did not recognise it (old age memory) and had to resort to The Silent Cities. Is that cheating??

Ah I see I was pipped to the post there. Don't know how I missed it on my first search but well played Mr. Dickaren 👍

Undoubtedly this will be far too easy, but one that I took in on my very limited WF travels.

Pretty sure that’s VIs-en-Artois British Cemetery & Memorial, think there are 3 VC,s on the panel’s, Prowse being one, and if I’m not mistaken a SAD.

It is indeed John. Here's another one I took while I was there.
