museumtom Posted 26 April , 2020 Author Share Posted 26 April , 2020 Ooh that looks good George, thanks for all the information and P.M's. Great information, and very much appreciated. I am hoping Terry can locate the critical sheet in Ancestry, so I sent all your information to him and await his reply. I am not confident but you necer know. He is worth a shot anyway. Fingers crossed. Thanks again George, stunning finds. Kind regards. Tom.
museumtom Posted 26 April , 2020 Author Share Posted 26 April , 2020 I am still awaiting news from Terry. I tried all different searches for this man, without avail. He is another Monaghan man. But he may have been from Athlone, County Westmeath. This could be him. This is all speculation of course. Can you help me please?

Mark1959 Posted 26 April , 2020 Share Posted 26 April , 2020 (edited) Cooke There are 4 WFA cards. These 2 are most important https://www.fold3.com/image/645793825 https://www.fold3.com/image/644926039 The first shows death due to TB The second shows TB attributable. museumtom Posted 26 April , 2020 Author Share Posted 26 April , 2020 Thank you Mark. Much appreciated. George sent me the four cards but I did not see sttrib in any of them, can you post an image please? The reaosn I ask is that Terry says links to folder3 images do not work. Poor Garvey did not make it, the reason was 'it appears that the TB peritonitis is a different condition to that he was discharged with. Given the long period between discharge and death, he could have contracted this elsewhere and so there is no definite evidence it was service related.'
