I for one am greatly looking forward to seeing what you have, pease bring it.

With 1,300 bits, I won't bring 'what I have', but will bring a theme - possibly Chinese Labour Corps stuff.

Thanks & looking forward to the day...

James

You could look on the bright side, Alan..........a derby against Birmingham City next year perhaps?

Wow!

Well done, mate. I wouldn't know where to start to do all that. I spent some time having a really good read.

See you on Friday evening in the OC.

I intend to eat before taking the train into the city this year to avoid any problems at the OC later!!! See you there.

There is a large (free) car park. I would be surprised if you found it full but if so you may have to drive a little distance to find a road that is not yellow-lined. For the most likely streets turn left as you come out of the car park, go past Pebble Mill Road on your right and then look for streets off the Pershore Road near the Selly Park Tavern. This is about a 10-15 minute walk to the venue.

Only going by my experience of the very first conference when I was lucky to find a space. I guess it depends on what else is happening that day

Thanks Chris, I'm coming from the West Riding of Yorkshire and intend setting off at about 06.30 to allow plenty of time to find it and park up. Cheers Roger.

I agree with Centurion.

At the first conference there were plenty of spaces, but there were fewer people attending.

Over the years, as the audience has grown the number of spaces has drastically reduced.

Last year we all clubbed together and got taxis down (amongst those who were staying in the same hotel) just as well as the car park(s) were full on-site.

Do get there early Roger, I'd say aim for at least half an hour before the actual start, or be prepared for the walk back, as advised by Chris.
