Hi,

If possible could you see if there is any mention of the following -

Albert Markham, Henry George Moore?

The reason I ask is that they are both my wifes' great grandfathers, and am trying to find out what they did in the Great War, so can eventually pass the info on to my kids.

They both came from the London area, and it is possible that Henry George Moore came from South East London. According to family sources, it is possible that Albert Markham died from war wounds in 1931, and also that Henry George Moore was an early member of the Britih Legion.

Unfortunatley all the people in the know, have now passed away, so am starting to search from scratch.

Thanks for reading this message,

Nick

Nick, the only ones I could find that had anything to do with London areas are as follows: (although file is called Markham it also has Moore there as well. One entry was for a GH Moore, and looked to enticing to leave out)........

the other ones mentioned are living in Bradford, Leeds, and nothing to do with the London area.....

Also took the liberty of looking up (I think it was) F Weeks in one of the other areas of the forum in the National Roll but could not find anything for him there.

Hope this helps.

Susan.
