stewart,

there are two WA Bridge(s)

WA Bridge Section 5 (Luton) Page: 43

WA Bridge Section 7 (London) Page: 42

(there is also a W Bridge Section 14 (Salford) Page: 36

There are only two Neary(s) listed:

O Neary Section 6 (Birmingham) Page: 296

WJ Neary Section 4 (Southampton) Page: 273

(nothing for an HJ Neary)

Hope this helps.

Susan

Thank you very much, that has been a great help. I think that WA Bridge must be the London one.

Darren,

The National Roll (Index) mainly lists men who survived the Great War (having said that I cannot find my own grandad in it!). Perhaps if you post this in "soldiers" section stebie may answer you query. The fellows on here are so knowledgeable. Hope you find what you want.

Hi Using this site for the first time I have listed a query you may be able to help me with regarding GNR Timothy Maud 124460 305th Siege battery; Royal Garrison Artillery died 21.02.1919 also his brother John henry Maud Pte 47937 South lancs. regt. and brother Arthur Aspden Gunner 154976 58th battery; Royal Field Artillery died 15.09.1916 and other brother John Aspden 15188, 2nd Bn; South Lancs regt. I know nothing of the service of these men, and am not familiar with war terminologies, find it all very confusing, so any help you could give in the simplest terms would be appreciated. Thank you Sharon.

Hi Susan,

I'd be obliged if you can check the following family members for me;

1) Albert Edward Anscombe - Royal Garrison Artillery (service number 374366?)

2) Albert Edward Gearing - Royal Army Veterinary Corps SE/7211 - Believed to have been discharged through wounds received.

3) Robert Ernest Cuthbert - We believe he was Royal Flying Corps based on a photo we have of him.

4) Edwin Frederick William Bird - no information available so far

5) Captain Richard Philip Stanhope

Thanks in advance,

Ryan
