The effects is clearly Langbridge and not Cambridge as transcribed, when the register is looked at.

I noticed a big surge in deaths commemorated in Ireland in the month of November 1918.

Usually, there are some 30-50 deaths per month.

November 1918 had 166 deaths.

I know it's apples & pears, but November 1917 had 25.
