Another avenue to follow could be double checking and cross referencing, for example B Gordon may have been 'Bert' there is a contender for than name on CWGC. But I wouldn't add it until confirmed by other sources.

Name: GORDON, JOSEPH ALBERT

Initials: J A

Nationality: Canadian

Rank: Private

Regiment/Service: Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry (Eastern Ontario Regiment)

Age: 29

Date of Death: 04/06/1916

Service No: McG/272

Additional information: Son of James and Mary Gordon, of Goderich, Ontario.

Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead

Grave/Memorial Reference: Panel 10.

Memorial: YPRES (MENIN GATE) MEMORIAL

Personally I wouldn't list them if I wasn't 100% certain it was the man. One mistake and thats the one everyone concentrates one when evaluating your work.

Yes that is him

I spent an hour on the CWGC site doing an open search, surname only. Then after reading what has been found, I did another search and the record came up. I must say this is not the first time this has happened no record found but then the next time I do a search it appears.

Many thanks
