Malte Znaniecki Posted 4 May , 2007 Author Share Posted 4 May , 2007 22nd of April 2007 Sint Elooi: Exit of the village - the road to Oosttaverne. Below the site of Sint Elooi from Google Earth. Crater 2 is to see clearly blue right of the road to Oosttaverne. The dark green stripe right of crater 2 keeps crater 1 which itself is difficult to find out. Left of both appears the big crater of June 7th 1917 (in dark blue) between the road to Oosttaverne and the road to Wytschaete. Copyright: M. Malte Znaniecki Posted 6 May , 2007 Author Share Posted 6 May , 2007 22nd of April 2007 Sint Elooi: This small road leads in a light bow around crater ("Trichter") 2. From here we thought we could access crater 1 and make some photos since the way passes it. View towards the entrance to Sint Elooi with the road from Oosttaverne. Copyright: M. Malte Znaniecki Posted 8 May , 2007 Author Share Posted 8 May , 2007 22nd of April 2007 Sint Elooi: Since this was a CRATER-tour we had to look for more. This was on the left side of the road ... Unfortunately this crater only is to access with a key to get in Ypres. We left it behind us. Unseen ! The picture below shows this crater of June 7th 1917 Copyright: M.
