We left Klerken and went down the N 301 towards Houthulst.

All of the sudden a mills ruin appeared on our left ...

I asked Frans for a stop and made these snapshots immedeately.

This mill has a couple of names:

"Van Coillie Molen", "Vredesmolen" and Oude Molen

Oude Molen: It was pretty obvious that Frans and me had to pay the mill a visit ...

Oude Molen: The building was left ruined after the war.

A loud speaking memorial ... indeed !

Deeply impressed we continued our trip and went over Houthulst into the area of Poelkapelle - Langemark.

Looking for the site of the former "Pelikaan" bulding (which we supposed to be at Madonna) we were not lucky enough to find it this time.

Frans invited me to the new information centre belonging to the Langemark German Cemetery

Langemark German Cemetery: Frans watching the video presentation.

By the way: Don't miss to notice the cigarette in his left hand.

Frans likes the "Prince" (from Scandinavian Tobaccos).

Pretty hard to get south of the river Elbe
