Malte Znaniecki Posted 6 June , 2007 Author Share Posted 6 June , 2007 24th of April 2007 This is the last picture of Battery "Aachen" at Raversijde as the last one of the day. The latest pics show the "Barbarabrunnen" It was a long way back to Ypres after having a rest with Johan in Leffinge again. Johan told me the shortest way to Essex Farm different times - and I got to Gent ... From there I followed the sun and luckily got back at 9 PM. If he had not failed in his way this trip still should have been much poorer to Major Spiller. Next year I will go back to these areas appearing in front of me on my way from Snellegem to Essex Farm over Gent - Brugge - Snellegem - Jabbeke - I don't remember where next - Koekelare - Vladslo - Beerst - Diksmuide - Ieper. SPILLER TOURS - That's more !!! Copyright: M. Znaniecki
Malte Znaniecki Posted 6 June , 2007 Author Share Posted 6 June , 2007 Wednesday, 25th of April 2007 - ANZAC day The following morning I found myself back in Ypres where I visited St. Martin's Cathedral as usually. After having had coffee, fish and chips next to the Cloth Hall I walked a little bit and made some photographs of Place Vandenpeereboom ... Copyright: M.
