Or possibly not......

I thought it might be Voormezele and the cemetery might be Bedford House, but the tower is too squat. It doesn't mean it isn't Bedford House of course but I'm not holding my breath.

Pete.

I'll just give you the solution... it's Maple Copse !!

Should have answered sooner buit with my colleague off with heart problems for two weeks, I've had the busiest weeks ever at work and no time to check out the forum. No taking advantage of just one free week-end.

Friday we fly to Spain to my parents ... that will be a nice respite before the next four months of the EU-Presidency

Are you looking at Five Points Cemetery from Rocquigny-Equancourt Road British Cemetery?

I fear I might need a few clues as I am clueless (but you knew that already). Just going off the map I think Ken might have a kontender for the last one. Yet another area that I've driven across without really understanding.....

Pete.

I hope this works. I don't have many photos that are obscure enough to cause any serious head scratching, so where's this?

It looks like a remnant of a church mounted on possibly a surviving bit of pre war wall. I’ve no idea where though, my would say Nord/Flanders.

Arras area.

I'll post another photo if that clue doesn't help anyone.

I think I've been there, and I've probably been to fewer places on the Western Front than anyone on here. I'll hold my fire for now, but if I am correct there is a wall nearby where others didn't do so.

A lovely sunny day this time last year, but where?

An area associated with a particular offensive. The CWGC photo shows the two bushes have received a severe pruning.

So I thought could it be Nivelle. So I looked at all the cemeteries on the CWGC site that are in the Aisne and aren't churchyards or communal cemeteries. My conclusions - there are still a lot of cemeteries in the Aisne region, none of which look like this one......

It is Thiennes British Cemetery, an area I always associate with the Lys offensive, though the cemetery dates after that.
Let’s try one from a more visited area.

clue!!

What he said. It looks too green for the Picardie chalk country and the culverted stream seems to point away from there too. So that narrows it down a bit. But only a bit, assuming I'm correct of course.
