This looks like a double track and French at a guess. If that is the case I'm wondering if it is on the Douai-Arras line. As usual you may be able to rearrange the words tree. barking, wrong and up to make a well known phrase or sentence....

A clue. Despite the name, there’s no one associated with that particular regiment buried in there.

Another clue. Did the men buried in here Die Hard?

I'm loving the clues but remain clueless. I may have to follow various train tracks on Google Earth.......

The West Middlesex were the Diehards, but not aware of a cemetery with Middlesex in the name

You are there with the Middlesex (not sure where the West bit comes in) but you now need to think laterally on that theme.

Well that excludes me from proceedings. The west bit was the name of the regiment in earlier Victorian times, it was dropped on amalgamation if I remember correctly (so don't rely on it as a fact). Does Berkshire adjoin Middlesex or do I need to go east latteraly (or laterally even)?

Just to narrow it down, is it somewhere under the rainbow?

That’s lovely. I wonder if the crock of gold was on Lone Tree? Got a few rainbows on my last trip over. This could be a candidate for a where is this I guess?

As this has gone rather quiet, let’s try to get it going again.

I too thought it might be something that referred to Nivelles famous quote.
