Are we anywhere near 'Ocean Works', SW of Haucourt (51B SW). The trees and turbines line up, but not the power lines. But there's some correspondence to the general area of Monchy, Guemappe etc.

Not there either.

This isn't the right answer, but are we withing a mile or two of Triangle Cemetery? Turbines and powerlines look good, and the general lie of the land, but viewpoints a bit limited on street view...

Been chasing my backside up and down lanes all around NorthernFrance with street view, I’m still unsure as to wether M is looking for a specific landmark or indeed a cemetery.

And I will swear, quite a lot, if it’s in Belgium😁

Specific landmark on a battlefield, not in Belgium, nor Bullecourt.

A clue to my mystery location. On this particular date, it would have been very dangerous to be there, as witness the nearby communal cemetery, with some casualties of the events of this day.

Close, but no cigar. What action happened on 26th August?

It’s not a cemetery. It’s on the side of a track.

Piggy backing on to @neverforget and Le Cateau, would it be that large unnamed stone monolith* in the middle of the field down a track, with some names of those lost on the retreat from Mons?

*II Corps Memorial Stone

No, not that memorial either. If you remember War Walks you might get the answer.

Is it the Canadian Memorial Bourlon Wood?

Or maybe just Bourlon Wood?

It wouldn't have something to do with pigeons would it?
