Very sorry, but no mention of your men. I couldn't find any mention of them on Murphys Register either.

Could I possibly trouble you to look up the following names for me. I know the men were in a photo that was taken before 4.12.1916 but can't find all bar one on the CWGC site. It would be interesting to see if you have any photos of them.

I've attached what info that I have to hand about them, but I'd be interested to see if you could find any more or particularly a photo of John Edward Bennett Brain, who is known to have died on 4/12/1916. I don't know if the others did die or not as I can't find them on CWGC but then John Brain did not come up on that site, and he is known to have died.

Sorry but no mention of your Officer. Unfortunately none of the others would be listed, as it is only Officers who are listed.

Sorry I haven't got a photo of him as the cd's only cover Officers from 1914 and 1916.

There is a photo of him knocking about though and I'll see if I can get hold of it for you.

Lieutenant Eric Hinckes Bird. Royal Flying Corps late Royal Fusiliers. Lieutenant Bird Died of Wounds recieved in combat on 26th June 1916.
