These look to be Landwehr men from that lower cockade - so 3. Badisches Landwehr-Regiment Nr. 111

Impressive reproductions. It is perhaps not vital for general fun/collecting or film use but it seems you have modelled the 08/15 as a WWI example but have the inter-war water hose connector?

The picture above shows nicely the trommel rain cover.  Although there is no 100 rd drum attached to this 08/15, as it’s using a standard 250, the cover is in the raised position. These are pinned through the feedblock when in use but quite fiddly and easy to damage. I am looking for two original examples complete with pins/chain etc. I am also looking for some good images please of the rain cover?

Sorry for the absence due to work. Will endeavour to re-energise both MG threads. On MG08/15 does anyone now the details on the 08/15 finds near Mauberge?

I would if I could. I am sent all sorts of pictures from all collectors of MG material so impossible for me to identify and ask.if the owner is reading maybe they will become visible. Sorry.

Good to see you back Mark, the device is still in the shop, I think for parts etc.  I think it is time to call again, but they are the only such business around.  That is a great close up photo, those lads seem awfully young.
