Bob, the one marked B II 1 is at Triangle Farm, the other , B II 2, is at Maison du Hibou, both near Vancouver Corner. There were 4 structures here (BII 1,2,3 and 4).

Regards, Peter

PS Bob Yes I agree, post 102 does look to be same as 72. Peter

Corrected thanks.

Bob, I think all this glossy side up is very misleading, maybe we should rely on first hand experience?

Not a bunker photo but nearly the same view that is in Peter Barton's 'Passchendaele' page 174. It shows Wing House and behind the Menin Road

towards Hooge in 1938.

On 31st July 1917, 419 Field Company RE, were involved in the capture of the German defences at Spree Farm, which is located very near to Pond Farm.

Are there any photos of the German defences at Spree Farm?

George Watson was a photographic contributor to 'Twenty Years After' Newnes circa 1938. These are the negatives that I aquired from Harry Canvin

some 15 years ago, he got them from one of his daughters after a chance meeting. You can see the family in a previous post. The negs are in small brown envelopes with scant discriptions. Have a trwal through the entire thread to get the most from them.
