Lots of Hattons but not your man. I have a ww1 pair to John Charles Le Pellem Hatton. He was a major and a Chaplain. It would be interesting if they were related.

regards.

Tom.

Tom,

Another one bites the dust. Hatton is a common nmae, but I'll let you know if I discover a link. Curious thing for me is that I lived in Dorset Road between the ages of 11 and 20.

Chris.

Just out of curiosity...where are you getting these names from? Are they related to you?

If you make up a complete list I will do them all at the one time.

Tom,

I am researching the landing at V Beach on 25 April 1915 and the two days following. At your convenience, I'd be very grateful if you could give me the names of the men from 2nd Bn. The Hampshire Regiment who were killed on 25, 26 and 27 April 1915.

Kind regards,

Fellow Irishman,

Philip

Tom,

A few months ago a fellow pointed you out to me at a Medal Society of Ireland event. He said: "That fellow is museumtom from the Great War Forum." At the time, not having had any previous contact with you, I said something like "o.k."

Next time he points you out, I'll buy you a pint! I am very grateful for the time and trouble you took on this. It's information for which I'd been searching for sometime.

Many thanks,

Kind regards,

Philip

See you Saturday week so at the fair in the North Star Hotel, Amiens Street from 10 o/c.. Buying me a pint is very much appreciated but not necessary( I will be driving). I am glad to help and I will bring a readout with more details of these men with me. I am not takling a table but going for a good old 'rummage' and to talk absolute drivel with fellow enthusiasts............you know what I mean.
