Anthony,

I can't find any reference to William Taylor through his name or numbers, but there are an awful lot of W. Taylors showing up! (644 in fact....) Haven't gone through them all!

Does your database include Special Supplements? If it does could you give a brief indication of what is covered in the War Graves Supplement of 10th November 1928. I want to know if it is worth trying to purchase a copy. If request too difficult please ignore

Thanks for trying anyway Steve.

I know that it's a tall order with it being such a common name, but I thought that it would be my only hope.

Cheers,

Tony

Many Thanks

Hello Steve,

Could I possiblily ask you to search for the surname 'Cuddy'. It is not a common surname by any means and shouldnt return many results if any.

Cheers,

jonny

Hello Steve

Is there anything in your Times access which would produce a death announcement (paid advert as opposed to formal obituary of the famous) for Lt Cmdr Philip Henry White RN who died at RN Hospital Haslar on 3 December 1916. He is a 'non-commemoration' which Terry has taken on, but details of his burial would help. There may have been a delay of a week or two after his death, as the certificate was not issued immediately.

Many thanks for anything you can do

To tell the truth I dont.

My uncles were called Robert, Samuel, George and Hugh. I am wondering does anything come up under those names.

Cheers

are they officers ? Not likely to be there if other ranks as they get their initial and number recorded in the casualty returns

Hi

Would you mind doing a look up for Captain Gerald Goldie-Taubman (at least it's not Smith!!) of the RGA died at home aged 42 on the 15th of September 1915 and seems to hail from the Isle of Man.

Thanks in advance

Hambo
