Malte Znaniecki Posted 13 April , 2007 Share Posted 13 April , 2007 Hi to allI am going to Ypres in personal mission as new F-Troop leader because my friend Bruce (tafski) told me to takeover his job since he's fully employed with other things like cleaning firehoses or teaching young people how to do it. Will be in the salient from 18th of this month on and will (as I hope) be back to work at 30th.This way I have to represent F-Troop and will do it as best as I can.Major Spiller

Malte Znaniecki Posted 25 April , 2007 Author Share Posted 25 April , 2007 The illustrated history of this journey will be posted right here from Sunday on. In Ypres 30 degrees today. I was lucky to be at the 27 000 th LAST POST this morning. A fabulous tribute to the ANZACs ! It was very special. This afternoon I mostly spent on the NEW IRISH FARM CEMETERY. It is hard to describe what I felt standing there. Another Great Day in the Ypres salient.
kebabking Posted 25 April , 2007 Share Posted 25 April , 2007 Until today I've not found out what F-Troop really means. The only F troop I know was a group of Millwall football hooligans in the 70s
