It is an old chestnut, often mis-quoted & argued, but the Eastney Museum & RMHS agree the plural is correct. Congratulations to Terry for his sterling efforts with these 40+ new commemorations. Does anyone know if the CWGC then go and check that the men are buried where the researchers claim or whether they just add the information about the grave location on trust. Ian Ian very little tramping of cemeteries has gone on - more done from the comfort of my own dining room - Izzy is responsible for any found in Liverpool - CGM dealt with Abney Park Once I have collated all of the details received from the various cemetery authorities then I send them to the CWGC via Terry Denham. One of their inspectors then arranges to visit the cemetery concerned & inspects the grave.
