Auimfo Posted 12 July , 2004 Share Posted 12 July , 2004 Christine, Your probably starting to tire of doing lookups but if I could beg one more from you (and this will be my first and only ask) Are you able to look up anyone with the surname 'Hill' who originated from around Caversham, Dunedin. If I had to narrow it down, the nok would probably be listed as parents, Bejamin Hill and Alexandrina or Mary (he married twice). Possible records could exist for Richard, Andrew, Charles, Benjamin or Herbert. Are there any records for people with the surname of 'Lycett'? Most of my 'Hill' ancestors eventually ended up in Melbourne but some stayed behind in NZ. Thanks, Tim L.

Auimfo Posted 13 July , 2004 Share Posted 13 July , 2004 A huge thankyou Christine, You've hit the nail on the head with Herbert Issac HILL and William Sydney LYCETT. Sorry if it was a large ask but I've only got limited info on my NZ relatives. The next task is to obtain service records which I've now sent away an enquiry about. Do you have any idea how long it takes for a reply regarding these? Tim L.
