The Other Side of the Wire Volume 1 With the German XIV Reserve Corps

Volume 2 is still set for May 2012. I was advised that there are only a few copies of the first book still available. They expect it to be sold out this coming month. I was wondering if that would happen or not, even with the 750 print run.

A certain well-known online retailer has just updated the delivery forecast for Vol. 2.

It's come forward from May 24th to May 18th.

Good news.

Simon.

Update. Amazon tell me they have put back the delivery date to 20 June. Oh, well, c'est la guerre. Mind you, they ought to have put it back to to July 1st. Another few days wouldn't make much difference, and the date would be very fitting.

Quite agree 1st July would be a fitting delivery date - after nearly a year of waiting what difference will another couple of days make?

I echo the above sentiments, but it will be a disapointment if it isn't now out for the first of July.

Seen the same message. Oh, well, it's not the end of the world. And I've got loads in my 'to-read' pile anyway!

I have just had my notification from Amazon - 20th - 22nd August.

They didn't state which year, rather than the 1st July date, perhaps they may go for 2016 instead.

Still really looking forward to receiving it, i feel really sorry for Ralph, he's done his bit, i can only assume that this is the publishers holding it up now.

Hi,

I have had mine on order since March 2011, hopefully not much longer to wait now. I do hope I will have it with me for my next visit to the Somme in August.
