jalucy8 Posted 29 March , 2008 Share Posted 29 March , 2008 My Grandfather Harold William Pearson, was a Regimental Quartermaster Sergeant in the King's Royal Rifles - Training Reserves. My understanding is that he was in the 26th Reserve Brigade, 109 Reserve Battalion, 19th Reserve Battalion King's Royal Rifles Corp and it was located in Wimbledon. Can anyone give me guidance as to how to find out what he, and his battalion did during the Great War. I submitted a photo recently, but received no comments, so I am trying again, with hopefully, a little more detail. Excuse the newbie question but would a Regimental Quartermaster Sergeant, be a commissioned officer.

Llew Thanks for the link and the medal card. The card is for a Private, so I doubt that it was my Grandfather, but thanks anyway.
