Margaret9 Posted 1 February , 2007 Author Share Posted 1 February , 2007 hey there, ive just been looking at the photos of submarine crews and subs and they are all really brilliant....i thought struck me though....all the personnel look shorter than average (without wishing to be insulting!) James Lawrence himself was 5ft 7 ins tall from his war record. so was this done on purpose....shorter men went on subs (for obvious reasons?) margaret Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
