gporta Posted 17 January , 2007 Share Posted 17 January , 2007 Chris, Fine drawing! I think you'd like to give a look to the September MGWAT or Egbert's thread with German postcards featuring horses. Gloria

Dan Brock Posted 19 January , 2007 Share Posted 19 January , 2007 Speaking as one with no small experience in the pencil thing, this is a nice piece of work. I can't speak for mules but horses are a terror to draw. Also, the mix of blur/smudge with contrasting detail works very well. It looks as if it were photographed (don't take that the wrong way) through a wet lens. Very evocative and I'll weigh in with the other folks that the sense of motion is very effective. WhiteWolf Posted 19 January , 2007 Share Posted 19 January , 2007 Great Picture Chris, thanks for sharing it with us (I wish I could draw, even my stick men look "wrong") Is it just me or does that mule look well "hacked" off with his job? LucyStag Posted 26 January , 2007 Share Posted 26 January , 2007 Oooh, that's marvelous. I've got the usual artistic skill envy that I get from these boards, but this drawing is especially great.
