Dragon Posted 27 October , 2003 Share Posted 27 October , 2003 It's ok, Martin, I think we know you weren't intentionally having a go at anyone. I can completely understand that you want the chance to spend your work experience doing something you love. Gwyn

John_Hartley Posted 14 November , 2003 Share Posted 14 November , 2003 and beamish-does anyone live near durham and spare a room 'fraid not, Martin. But if you get offered an interview, you should go. It's a brilliant "peoples museum" set in 1913 - so just about the right date for your main interest in WW1. Good luck John
Matt Dixon Posted 14 November , 2003 Share Posted 14 November , 2003 I had a mate who did a part time job at the Ulster Tower, working on the reception desk, taking the money and what have you. It's not the most exciting of jobs, but what a place to do it! Good luck anyway old chap Matt p.s I have stacked shelves, worked behind more pub bars than I can remember and I once had a classy job taking salmonella swabs from chickens backsides ...the things you'll do for money when you're a student eh!
