Hello,

Don't worry !

I feel better day after day

and make now sport with a physio in a hospital.

I walk longer enough to go to the cemetery to take photos.

I try to take the last photo at the end of the week, Ihope the weather will be sunny.

Now I work for a lecture about a old fort (1856) built by russian prisonners of crimea war to defend Le Havre against the British navy and finally it was be surround with a allied british camp during WW1.

History is some time amazing

It return to my work on the 19th of june.

Bye

Chris,

François hasn't visited the forum since 2008, but he gives a link on his Profile page to a website that is still extant and appears to have been recently updated — http://regiments.havrais.pagesperso-orange.fr/accueil The web page also gives an e-mail contact address.

Thank you for spotting something I should have noted myself - old age plays tricks on you - I e-mailed the web site you kindly suggested and we await to see if I get a reply. French is not a language I am fluent in - or could even have a stab at passing a GCE in now - I hope they can read English.

In the meantime I have found http://www.inmemories.com/Cemeteries/stemarielehavre.htm which, while listing the Seaman I have an interest in, only has some general views of the graves.
