Hi Chris,

I will be taking some photographs in Grangegorman Military Cemetery shortly and will have a look to see if I can add to your database.

Thanks. Not just an only son, an only child, so likely lost forever. His father owned a chemist shop in Brigg, and was probably pleased that his heir was not in the front line trenches.

Hello Chris,

There are quite a few lads from the RAMC buried at Grangegorman Cemetery. Are you sure you want photo graphs of the headstones?

Dear Chris,

I can help with some of those who died at Gallipoli. By the way, where can one find this database?

Any chance we could communicate directly via e-mail?

Regards,

Pat

Hello Chris,

I'm afraid my pc skills leave quite a lot to be desired. I attempted to send you some photos but the files were far too big, hence you didn't receive them. I will have to get my bright spark of a son to sort it out for me. Sorry about that.

Hi Chris,

I have three R.A.M.C members in St Finbarrs Cemetery here in Cork City, there are others around the other graveyards and i will check these out. The three are,

Capt George Stanton 16-8-1916; Lieut R J. Bassett 10-10-1918 and Colonel M J Whelton 12-1-1946.

I will try to upload an extract from the family headstone of G Stanton, you may be able to use it for your site. R J Bassett has no headstone, which i will look into.

M J Whelton's family headstone is coverd by a huge celtic cross, the top half of the family memorial which fell down some years ago and is blocking the names ( his name is on it).

Regards,

Sean.

Sorry Chris no good, if you send a PM with your e-mail i will try it that way, Sean.
