eltoro1960 Posted 2 June , 2006 Share Posted 2 June , 2006 The Evening Times published a PDF Roll of Honour which I have a copy of and would be happy to share with anyone (see footnote) that would like it. It's only about a half megabyte file and easily sent by e-mail, gives the following details Surname , Forenames, Home, Town, Rank, Unit, Date of Death, Date in Theatre,Notes (usually cause of death) There are two further columns which relate to Page Number, (presumably on paper version) and Port (pass no idea) Drop me an e-mail, or follow this link http://www.glasgow.gov.uk/NR/rdonlyres/DF7...llofHonour2.pdf for personal research please. This cannot be distributed or sold commercially, so please do not put this on Ebay folks. Cheers
barrieduncan Posted 2 June , 2006 Share Posted 2 June , 2006 John, I think Port stands for Portrait. The evening times was quite good as it posted pictures that some of the local papers missed out. Thanks very much for the heads up, very useful link. Barrie
