CROONAERT Posted 25 September , 2005 Share Posted 25 September , 2005 Is it the pickelhaube on the sideboard behind one of the "satisfied customers"? Dave.
John_Hartley Posted 25 September , 2005 Share Posted 25 September , 2005 Off at a slight tangent, but in case anyone wondered if the punters shown are genuine, then yes they are. I used to work with a woman who is in the last batch (shown up till a few month ago). Think she got 50 quid for being filmed and another 50 as they included her in the advert. Piscator Posted 25 September , 2005 Share Posted 25 September , 2005 Wouldnt touch any of these firms with a barge pole. They all started in the back pages of the daily rags years ago. Picture a large fish with sharp teeth Len

Picture a large fish with sharp teeth Len <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My impression of such companies is that you end up paying more over a longer period of time, albeit in smaller monthly payments. (I assume that the company takes over your existing debts and adds a management fee and/or profit margin.)
DMcNay Posted 26 September , 2005 Share Posted 26 September , 2005 Next time you see one of these adverts, read the small print on the screen. They usually give you an example of how much you pay. If you borrow £25,000 for eample, you end up paying back about £45,000!
