Nelson Bn suffered the most at Gallipoli This is an extract from the RND war diary for the 4th June following the 3rd Krithia. Clearly shows Collingwoods suffered the most casualties with 382 officers and men either killed, wounded or missing. Out of a battalion of around 600, though not wiped out, that’s very high especially as this happened in the space of less than one hour of fighting.
