The photos show my box and the ones Frogsmile added for comparison. Harvey That is really great mate, I’m wondering, did you start from scratch or did you begin with an existing military wooden box? wonderful job, are you missing any tools? kind regards g
Piper42nd Posted 11 April Author Share Posted 11 April Thank you kindly. It's all from scratch. As I mentioned It's scaled from photos. I couldn't find anyone that has one to get actual dimensions. I've added photos of my tools. Some are WD, some are just old and some are new. I'm using the Tools for Armourers list from the Equipment Regulations as a guide. The little paper envelopes contain spare parts.
Piper42nd Posted 15 April Author Share Posted 15 April @FROGSMILE back on 15 February you mentioned the "Armourers Supplementary Tool Kit." Is that the name of the box or a list of the tools to go in it? If it's a list do you have a digital copy you could send me? Harvey

Harvey Hello Harvey, I’m afraid it’s in a book, but I could perhaps photograph the pages and sent them to you if that’s okay. I also have ‘adobe scan’ and could perhaps try that, although I’ve not used it before so it’ll be trial and error?
Interested Posted 15 April Share Posted 15 April Nice collection of "pre-loved" tools you have there. I have what I think is an identical spirit level to yours - Rabone No. 1393; is this a period piece,? I never thought it of as military issue, having no broad arrow.
