keithmroberts Posted 16 January Share Posted 16 January (edited) Thank you Maureen, for this latest addition, I have added the links to the QMR yeomanry book, and to that Jourdain volume to the next rerlease of the Salonika Campaign Bibliography. John Taylor - worry not, thanks to the earlier thread by Maureen I think I have added everything relevant from the Aristotle University site, omitting only a very few of the titles in English which did not touch on the Salonika Campaign.. Addendum Whoops, sorry John, you have a namesake in the SCS and I confused you with him. The Aristotle University collection that Maureen found a while ago wa, as might be expected, full of rich pickings particularly for those with a special interest in the Salonika Campaign. johntaylor Posted 16 January Share Posted 16 January It's great to see so many more of these volumes being digitised - but all thanks to institutions in Greece, India, the US etc. If only the IWM would follow their lead and share some of their rare books online, especially now they're all stored offsite and even harder to access. johntaylor Posted 24 February Share Posted 24 February Many thanks again to Maureen for another tremendous batch. It's especially good to see the Essex Regiment series by Burrows now available online. With so many new additions to the Internet Archive, I wonder if Google Books are releasing some of the WWI books they previously digitised, after finally realising they're long out of copyright? Some of these were previously on Hathi Trust but were only available on a search-only basis in the UK. I've no idea if it's anything to do with that, but in any case it's a great resource.
