Thank you Maureen, the RAOC Volumes are especially significant, as they cover the evolution of the Ordnance Services from the pre Crimea period, when the artillery and engineers were a part of the same overarching organisation alongside them, and then explains the separation, various significant reforms, and the enormous efforts of WW1.  It’s a fantastic historical resource to now have readily available online free of charge.

Maureen

Canteen staff were awarded medals, and their MICs are endorsed 'Canteens'.
They seemed to be on the roll of the ASC.

Thanks again for these Maureen - I've just been looking around Archive.org and it appears a number of WWI volumes, mainly relating to Macedonia, have been uploaded by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. I'll try to post the details but I'm not so adept at searching the site.

All the best, John

John, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki has been mentioned in another GWF topic https://www.greatwarforum.org/topic/293546-updated-bibliography-of-books-on-the-salonika-campaign/?do=findComment&comment=3232837,  (and some of the  Posts following) so it is possible the volumes you refer to have already been noted.
