thedawnpatrol Posted 5 August , 2023 Share Posted 5 August , 2023 While paging through one of my log books, that of Lt Aiden Parsons, who was in training during 1918, eventually passing out flying Camels, but only joined 94 Squadron after the Armistice. i was very excited to see that his pilot was Captain C N Seedhouse, and had signed off Parsons log book several times……. the reason…….i have Seedhouse’s medals ……..what a coincidence! Hi thedawnpatrol. Thank you for sharing this. I'm sure you have seen them but there are many articles in the press covering 2nd Lt. Seedhouse's exploits in 1916, one of which, the 'Dundee Courier' dated 15th March 1916 has this full length photograph. If you would like the full article then I will send it over by pm... charlie962 Posted 5 August , 2023 Share Posted 5 August , 2023 (edited) Your collection confirms he served 94 Squdn Dec 1917 to May 1918. Perhaps he was the one training others after that date? Edited 5 August , 2023 by charlie962
thedawnpatrol Posted 6 August , 2023 Author Share Posted 6 August , 2023 I’m afraid his story about crashing in no-mans land is a little short of the truth, this page from June 1918, sees him note, ‘first Solo in Camel’…….he has several crashes all in the UK while training…..
