lambo220 Posted 19 November , 2022 Share Posted 19 November , 2022 Hi I'm researching a soldier who was invalided out - following a trauma - in 1917. In the register of Soldiers Effects, it is noted that "RP noted as POSB case". Can anyone tell me what this means. It may be worth adding he rejoined after the war. Many thanks in advance. Terry_Reeves Posted 19 November , 2022 Share Posted 19 November , 2022 It might refer to the Post Office Savings Bank which was founded in 1861 to accommodate ordinary working people. TR
