As part of something else, i've listed the men that were inmates in Broadmoor in 1939, and that have military service noted.  Apart from some younger men, the majority of them served in WW1, or committed their crimes during that period.

So far, i'm missing Kenny, Newman, Bailey, Dumphy, Poole, Pilkington and Webb, if anyone can identify them.

My great grandfather is Charles Bage, born 5/121877 died 20/4;1949 I have been researching his life for a few years. i think he was  in Rampton , he was in Broadmoor from1939 until his death in 1949. my aunt (his granddaughter} told me he was a very kind gentle  man, I know he was also in the Boer war. I can only assume he had shell shock as what he did was so out of character.
