My dad and I have been searching for my great-great-grandad John Frederick Gould who was in the 20th Battalion Royal Fusiliers. We know he was Company Sergeant Major in 1918 so I was hoping he might be in the photo. No worries if not- I know it's a bit of a long shot but I thought it would be worth asking. I guess there is a chance your great-grandad is in the photo, also I imagine the other platoons would have taken similar photos at the same time which may still exist somewhere or other. The experts on here may be able to help with your search and if I unearth anything else I'll be sure to post it but as far as I know the letters, the photo and the concert programme are the only documents in my family's possession.
