A pension record on Fold 3 states that his father was Daniel Lawler, living at Upper Turnpike, Castle Dermot.

Hi,

The only other thing that FMP has is a transcription of his medal index card.

I’m not allowed to show the image on the forum, but I can add the following;-

John Lawler was serving as a Sergeant in Royal Munster Fusiliers {14111} when he was killed in action on 05/03/19. His father was born in 1854 and received a pension of 6 shillings for life. Not sure if this was weekly or monthly. Hope this helps.

Regards,
