I thought it was well-priced, not least it you added up how much the components would cost individually.

Agree it's been too long. Chris tells me that he's about 50% there with 1916 - the vast majority of pictures are done, and the text is well underway.

I’ve got the repaired belt back from Richard Knight and have done a final reassembly. Yes, I’m rather pleased with it. Just need some real brace attachments and a MkVI Webley now. 😉

 

It also shows what can be done with luck, perseverance and a willingness to compromise. I can’t remember exactly what everything cost me, but I don’t think the set has cost much more than about £200 to put together.

December 2020 update...

 

OK, it’s not a pair of original P1908 brace attachments, but it’s definitely a step in the right direction. 😉 Even in this corroded state, you can instantly tell it’s the real deal build quality-wise compared to the repros above. I don’t suppose anyone has examples of the middle or lower segments for sale..?
