You're not kidding there! 😁 Actually, I doubt he ever thought I'd be reading his army file, reconstructing his WWI story or uncovering his Irish family roots some 46 years after his death. And what would he think if he knew, that through him I'd become an Irish Citizen now too? though my male/name lineage goes back hundreds of years in and around Dinas Powys! 🐲 It's been a fascinating exploration.
