IPT Posted 1 April , 2016 Share Posted 1 April , 2016 On the 1911 census, Lily should be somewhere with son Thomas (illegitimate on service papers - presumably due to birth before the marriage?), born April 1907. The other two children were born 1912 and 1916.
Clarissabell Posted 1 April , 2016 Author Share Posted 1 April , 2016 On the 1911 census, Lily should be somewhere with son Thomas (illegitimate on service papers - presumably due to birth before the marriage?), born April 1907. The other two children were born 1912 and 1916. There was certainly a complicated family arrangement in the Ennis household. I find it amazing that he was taken into the army when he must have been already suffering from TB. He didn't last long at all. It just shows how desperate they must have been for men, and perhaps how desperate he was for employment. Thanks for looking up all this information for me. IPT. I really appreciate it.
