I thought I would just update the thread whilst I still have my laptop at hand. Will write more when I'm at home, but a very successful weekend was had and I can only say I am very humbled and touched by the humility and generosity of the French and British people and organisations that have made this possible, but I shall mention this could not have all happened without David who has commandeered this since the project's conception. More photos on my camera still to come..

Thanks - looks like a good do.

Two questions:

1. As he was 8th (Irish) Battalion, The King's, why does the grave have the standard King's badge?

2. I see there was an Irish representative. Do the Liverpool Irish have any current existence?

Good pics, too, and a worthy cause. Well done to all.

Thanks - nice website.

Looks like the Irish have done better than the Jocks in terms of survival.
